The Center and Marlene Productions are pleased to announce the second concert of the Local Artist Concert Series at the IAHC.

The Keane Machine returns with special guest Howard Levy, to perform the first movement of Howard's Concerto for Diatonic Harmonica. The work will be performed for the first time with instrumentalists from the Keane Machine. The musicians will be also featured in their respective genres; Irish, jazz, classical and country.

This is an event not to be missed. The concert features:

Kathleen Keane - Vocals, Whistles, Fiddle, Button Accordian, Recitation and Stepdance
Jackie Moran - Bodhran, Banjo, Storytelling and Vocals
Jimmy Moore - Guitar, Bass and Vocals
Catherine O'Connell - Vocals
Jim Dooley - Guitar and Vocals
Steve Gibons - Violin
Alfonso Ponticelli - Guitar
Farley Kelly-Masterton - Violin
Graham Nelson - Harmonica
Marieke Van Der Maelen - Stepdance and Recitation
Kimberly Bigler - Ballet and Stepdance
Alpha Stewart - Percussion and Stage Presence
Special Guest Howard Levy - Harmonica and Composition


and introducing Kathy Cowan (vocals), Larry Gray (upright bass), Ben Weber (viola), Cristina Gutierrez (Flamenco Dance), Brent Roman (Percussion) and Jill Kaeking (cello). Also introducing Maris Maeve, singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist on guitar and piano, who, with her identical twin sister on violin, will open the show.

The concert is Saturday, May 19th, 2012 at 8pm. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door.

The Keane Machine is a collaborative effort between musicians, singers and dancers from Irish, Gypsy Jazz, Classical and Flamenco backgrounds. It is an experience guaranteed to lift your spirits and fill your hearts with joy.

A generous portion of the profits from the concert will be donated to the installation of a permanent sound system in the IAHC auditorium.
